Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occuring molecule in the body. It is injected into the facial tissue to add volume and/or fill in wrinkles. There are a variety of different fillers that are all tailor-made for specific areas of the face to give you the best results.
What filler should I be using?
There are many different fillers out there. Here at Viridity, we only use hyaluronic acid fillers as they are the safest for your face. Depending on your desired outcome, your injector will choose between various options from the Juvederm and Restylane lines of filler.
What areas can be treated?
At Viridity, you make a custom plan with your injector for your treatment based on your concerns and the injector's recommendations. Common treatment areas include the following:

How to prepare
Avoid NSAIDs like ibuprofen for at least 24 hours before to prevent bruising, avoid alcohol the night before injections, do not get injections done if pregnant/nursing, on antibiotics. Space out dental appointments by two weeks before and after treatment.
is there any downtime?
After the appointment, expect swelling and possible bruising. Avoid excessive exercise and makeup for 24 hours. Filler can take up to two weeks to settle, as Injector Vanessa always says, don't love or hate it for two weeks!
How long until I see results?
Results can be seen right away, however immediate swelling is common and the filler can take up to two weeks to fully heal.
